The Kate:
This is the Character "Kate" [Kelli Garner] from Pan Am
At first my favorite character was "Maggie" [Christina Ricci] but then i got to know the characters a little more and Kate, as shown above is more like me in many ways; body type (minus the hight) and personality. Plus her makeup looks classy, natural and still attractive. So here is the how to for what I am going to call "The Kate":
Day Time Look:
Face:
Start by covering you face with moisturizer, then use a light, matte foundation (like: Fit Me! by Maybelline) if needed. Next cover dark circles under eyes and any other blemishes. Add a small amount of foundation on eye lids to clear skin of veins.
Eyes:
Take a matte gel or cream liner (like: Cream Liner by eyes lips face (e.l.f.)) in black or very dark brown. Hold eye closed by gently placing a finger on eye lashed, next line the lash line making the line thin at the inner corner and (a tiny bit) thicker towards the outer corner following the lashes. Open eye and curl eye lashes carefully not to mess up the line. Look straight forward into the mirror, place applicator (or brush) at the end of the line you have already made and follow the outer most lashes to make the perfect most natural cat eye. [if you have no idea what i am talking about watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrd2TwlANXA] No shadow for the day time. And finally add mascara.
Cheeks:
Take a nude pink-ish lip stick and lightly dot it on the cheek bones from the apples to (under) the temples. Bend very well for a matte but dewy look.
Lips:
Use the same color that you used on the cheeks on your lips or use a clear but matte lip balm.
Night Time Look:
Working off the look above;
~Add shimmery champlain colored eye shadow to the lid and a nude-ish brown to the crease
~Add Fruit punch/ cherry red gloss to lips
~ Open up eyes by curling once more before going out the door (if you curl lashes with mascara on the curl lasts longer)
Hope this is helpful! I will try to do one for each character (one down three to go)
xoxo,
Cat
