The Laura:
This is the Character "Laura" [Margot Robbie] from Pan Am
Laura is an inexperienced Pan Am trainee. In the first episode her hair and makeup are superb in the picture shown above she is getting ready to marry at the age of 23 years, then she runs out on her own wedding to be a Pan Am stewardess. Her makeup is interesting for the 60's, it has no wing but it looks classy and clean cut. So here is how to do "The Laura":
Day Time Look:
Face:
She has very perfect skin so cover any dark circles or blemishes with any type of concealer you would like and then cover over with a full coverage, very *matte but not dry foundation (like: Lasting finnish - 25 hour foundation by Rimmel London). Prime the eyes with what ever makeup base you would like.
*matte: adj. - no shine.
Eyes:
Take matte champaign shadow and cover the center of the eye lid and under the eye brow blend into the brow bone. Next Take a matte black gel or cream liner (like: Cream Liner by E.l.f.), hold eye closed by hold eye lashes gently down to the skin under the eye. With the liner, line the top lashes making the line thin in the inner corner ticker in the center and thin again in the outer corner, but don't wing out! Take the left over liner and line 3/4 of the way in form the outer corner of the bottom lashes. Curl lashes and add your choice of mascara.
Cheeks:
Use a cream to power blush in a brown based pale pink, place under cheek bones blend with bush very well.
Lips:
Choose a icy pink color with a sheer matte finish (like: Rimmel London's renew moister lip stick in 300 rose blush)
Brows (optional):
Choose a medium brown shade and shade in your brows using light strokes. Folow the picture above for shaping.
For Night Time:
working off of the look above
+ Ticken up the liner all the way around
+ Add a light brown to the crease of your lid
+ Add more blush
+ Curl lashes once more
+ Add one more coat of mascara.
Hope you like it! Don't forget to add a "thought" at the bottom!
Thanks!
xoxo,
Cat
